Camp Washington Sunday is a special day designated annually by our bishops, inviting all ECCT parishes and worshipping communities to join together in celebration of Camp Washington- our wonderful diocesan Camp && Retreat Center. Bishop Mello and Bishop Ahrens invite you to join the celebration

We invite you to use the available resources by clicking below. You will find prayers to incorporate into your liturgy, camp music, recipes and games for coffee hour and church school. We invite you to be creative as you consider ways to celebrate with us.

Inviting a camper, young adult, or someone from your parish who has experienced the joy of Camp Washington to share their story is a great way to experience first-hand the power of Camp.

Camp and Retreat ministries are so important- especially in these days of media overload, stress and anxiety. Camp is a place for ALL God’s people to be loved, embraced, renewed, and sent back out into the world to do the hard work before us. Camp is a place to explore, grow, belong, and find community. A place for listening, and for action- a place of hope and joy.

Please join your companions in Christ around the diocese by promoting and taking a second plate collection that Sunday, dedicated to Camp Washington. In addition to checks and cash, a QR code is provided below to download and use in your bulletin for on-line giving.
